Senior Developer
We're looking for a software engineer to join our busy development team in central Cambridge. You will work as part of the team at all stages of the development process, designing, implementing and maintaining a rapidly evolving Web-based application.
The successful candidate will have professional experience of programming with C++ in a UNIX/Linux environment. Knowledge of Boost and the STL is highly desirable while knowledge of Python, build systems, MySQL or common Unix systems and packages is an advantage. You must be a fast learner, self-motivated and proactive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role will give you the opportunity to expand your development skills and grow with a small but market-leading software company. You will join a small team that appreciates high-quality C++ code and in which keeping up to date with new techniques is encouraged. We allow individuals the flexibility to work to their interests and strengths.
European Sales Executive
Location: Europe and UK
Transversal is seeking a European Sales Executive with at least five years' experience. This person will play a key role working for a growing, award-winning software technology vendor with an established list of well-known, blue-chip clients including Marks & Spencer, Barclays, the BBC, John Lewis, Ofcom and RBS. The role will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
The successful candidate will have experience of selling solutions-oriented software with a consultative approach. They will have excellent communication skills, evidence of working to targets and good analytical skills.

Role Responsibilities
- Launch European operations and deliver sales target revenues across the EMEA region.
- Recruit and train sales personnel across the region.
- Source, develop and manage lead generation including direct sales campaigns.
- Meet and exceed targets while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Build and maintain relationships understanding cultural values across the region.
- The role is field based; however, the candidate will be required to report to Head Office in the UK at least twice a month.
Skills
- Excellent (demonstrable) communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive attitude and a focused ambition to develop their pipeline to achieve their personal targets.
- Excellent communication skills in English and at least one other major European language.
- Experience of the full software solutions life cycle.
- Experience of Channel Sales will be advantageous.
- Professionally representing Transversal at CEO and senior manager level.
- Ability to follow through and meet deadlines.
- Educated to degree level (preferred).
Salary: Competitive + excellent bonus + 25 days' holiday p.a. + pension contribution. The company also runs an employee share option scheme.
