Transversal CEO shortlisted for Woman Entrepreneur of the Year
We’re delighted to announce that Heather Richards, CEO of Transversal, has been shortlisted for Cambridge Judge Business School Woman Entrepreneur of the Year at the Business Weekly awards. This award recognizes “a woman entrepreneur who can demonstrate outstanding achievements in the last 12 months and who inspires and nurtures other women to excel”.
Held annually, the Business Weekly awards honour the wealth of talent and innovation in and around Cambridge’s “Silicon Fen”. This year’s shortlist was winnowed from the largest volume of nominations in the awards’ history. Winners will be announced on 21 March 2018.
Heather has been CEO of Transversal since 2014 and has spent a total of 20 years driving our consultancy and technology operations. She has worked on some of the largest and most complex of business transformation projects. Her depth of hands-on experience gives her a unique holistic perspective of our business.
Heather has overseen Transversal expand its reach and take on increasingly ambitious projects, transforming how enterprises share knowledge and generating major benefits for our clients. A graduate in literature and philosophy, Heather believes people with diverse skills are key to fostering technological innovation. Heather was recently a finalist for Business Leader of the Year at the Women in IT Awards. She has also mentored other businesswomen in the region.
