Transversal is one of Cambridge’s most influential companies
Transversal has been voted one of the 130 most influential businesses in Cambridge by readers of local newspaper Cambridge News.
The businesses that made the list of 130 – chosen to commemorate the paper’s 130th birthday - range from local cafés, to national retailers, to multinational technology companies. They include past landmarks of Cambridge now gone, as well as businesses growing and thriving today. All have left their mark on life and work in the city, whether as a beloved independent shop or as an enterprise carrying on Cambridge’s traditions of research and innovation.
Given Cambridge’s position as a technology hub, the IT sector is unsurprisingly well represented. Alongside Transversal are such market-leading companies as ARM, Darktrace, Redgate and Raspberry Pi.
Heather Richards, CEO of Transversal, said: “Cambridge has played an influential role in computing history since the days of Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace. We’re proud that our part in this ongoing tradition has been recognized by Cambridge News.”
