Transversal CEO is #OnetoWatch in 2019
The annual list aims to promote Cambridge’s rich culture of technological innovation by recognizing the people, companies and inventions that “accelerate the pace of change”. It includes both private entrepreneurs and academic researchers, and covers fields including IT, science, engineering and social enterprise. “What an amazing group to be part of!” Heather tweeted when her nomination was announced.
Heather has led Transversal since 2014 and has been a driving force in our consultancy and technology operations for 20 years. During her tenure, Transversal has expanded its reach and taken on increasingly ambitious and complex knowledge transformation projects. Her experience of generating ROI through knowledge has few rivals. Heather also participates more widely in the tech world as a mentor and public speaker. She is an advocate of women in technology and encourages IT companies to harness a range of talents, including those from the arts and humanities.
In 2018, Heather’s contribution to industry was recognized by the Cambridge Judge Business School award for Woman Entrepreneur of the Year. She was also a finalist for Business Leader of the Year at the Women in IT Awards, and for CEO of the Year at the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards.
